ItzOmega Posted April 11, 2019 Report Posted April 11, 2019 (edited) Some face photogrammetry I have done lately. Rendered in Real time on UE4. You can see more here! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/A92kQV Edited April 11, 2019 by ItzOmega That50'sGuy and Interfearance 2 Quote

Sigma Posted May 4, 2019 Report Posted May 4, 2019 (edited) Took a break from the bridge and hopped back onto the vfx work for this scene. Made a new, smaller scene so that I can work, refine, and compare versions of the effects (namely the waterfalls with light shafts and mist and fire work). Especially on the smaller ones the edges are very noticeable! So if they are meant to go inside the playable area, I feel like they might need a few more polys . That50'sGuy Posted July 18, 2019 Report Posted July 18, 2019 Well it ain't much, but here's 2 models I made for my contest entry map. They are nice and high poly too! So at least they'll be future-proof for a long time Donskioni 1 Quote
That50'sGuy Posted July 29, 2019 Report Posted July 29, 2019 (edited) So I challenged myself to make as many models as I could in 3 days, and these were the results. From left to right: Grate panel - Paint can - Bleached wooden plank - Outdoor light - Modern coffee table - Clock - Solar panel - Fire hose box - Small wall vent - Barrel. All of them (Except the solar panel) can be colorized to be any color you wish. I made them for a map my little brother says he wants to make, so this is a start Edited July 29, 2019 by That50'sGuy Gawshaark, Lefty, Furiosa and 3 others 6 Quote

Could you present your model some more? I can see only about 30% of it because of the picture angle and blur. That50'sGuy and Karthoum 2 Quote

I would say be careful about resolution vs object size here, this is a minuscule object so having a lot of geo/big texture on it would probably not be ideal in most games, unless it's for a cutscene... Although if it's just for practice then never mind! +Rusty+ and Lefty 2 Quote
Sigma Posted August 14, 2019 Report Posted August 14, 2019 (edited) After working on my cave scene so much, I decided a few months ago to parry away from environment art permanently, and instead have chosen the VFX route. Below are a couple I have worked through. I am on the fast track for learning Houdini as well. Edited August 14, 2019 by Sigma Mr.Yeah!, That50'sGuy, Minos and 3 others 6 Quote
