Why not new community maps? It would add diversity in themes, as well as innovate with layouts.
The scrimmage gamemode has already provided a place to test community maps.
Cache has been the only community map in the competitive pool for years.

biome, breach + abbey are amazing maps. I'd love for them to be considered for active duty.

In the meantime Valve has update the game lots, and in the latest they have introduced a huge thing for those that want to study the game deeply: live grenade trajectory preview

I actually had a nightmare where I was watching one of his videos, and he started undress and show off how hairy his chest and back was, was looking more like a bear than a man, he even had dreadlocks lol

Breach is probably my favorite map in csgo. I have nothing against the community maps. It's just not safe for them to push the boundaries of layout design like valve has done.

What does valve have to lose?
