Gotta say I'm not very hyped having watch that. Seems like Amnesia the aliens game, is that really an experience I need more of, especially given how rammed that genre seems to be at the moment.

Atmosphere looks great though.

Hatters gunna hat.

No he didn't.

"The story focuses on Ripleys daughter, Amanda, who, 15 years after last seeing her mother, is sent by Weyland Yutani to recover the flight recorder of the Nostromo, aboard a remote trading station".

Here's the official website:

Whys it a copy paste of everything from the Nostromo then

Well, the USCSS Nostromo is a starfreighter, wikipedia tell us it's a "Lockmart CM-88B Bison M-Class starfreighter", that implies there's many previous models of it, and much likely many more models just like it as well.

Much like real-life freighters we have in our world, they're all alike and copy of each others, because it's easier to manufacturer?

... that and it brings back some nostalgia of the film!

Looks really great guys, still curious how this will shape a full length game but it looks like it's off to a great start~

Yeah I think this will be the main challenge! Having only one enemy could potentially limit the gameplay variation and one questionmark is how they'll prevent the player from killing the alien without making the player feel completely gimped.

Does look interesting, here's a video you missed:

I'll reserve judgement for now, though I hope that too much control isn't taken away from the player at key moments though (the bit in the trailer where you dive into the elevator before the alien reaches you and then get blown out the airlock looks like part of a cinematic).I would want to feel as much as possible as if I'm there experiencing it all, rather than just walking and running in between bookend cutscenes.

It's quite refreshing to see that a larger studio is allowed to take on material that is essentially the stuff of indie titles and develop what looks like a more intimate game, without publishers shouting at them for more shooting and explosions.
