kurt_loeffler Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 A GoW style traffic barrier: Quote
Skjalg Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 the shape and texture seems to be very good, kind of hard to see with the yellow lighting... But why does it have a black outline? Quote
kurt_loeffler Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 The border is just for presentation. Maybe its too thick? Cant decide if 2 pixels or 1 pixel is best. Quote
skdr Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Better use no borders at all and place it to the ground plane for some nifty little shadows Quote
Psyshokiller Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Wow this is so next gen buddy. Quote
cyberjunkie Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 My first silly 1/2hr model after almost half a year... Quote
Quakis Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 Current WIP - Bar Stool, needs a metal bar to attach the back to the seat and textured. Quote

Sindwiller Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 A GoW style traffic barrier: Whoah, Image Got to love the outline Quote
SnipaMasta Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 How long did it take for you to come up with that? Quote
kurt_loeffler Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 I got to have the border all good presentations have borders. This is the new composition, hopefully its a little less irradiated green Quote
ifO Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 It looks even more bright green/yellow. Looks like a great model but why such extreme lighting on the render, keep it simple please! Quote
kurt_loeffler Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 Im not going for a "real life" look, i want something a bit more dramatic like GoW, which uses extreme lighting and then does post processing to bring it back to look like the final result. I just cant go with really desaturated texture and lights, it just looks like crap to me :/ Quote
