Nazul Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 how do you guys get something from max into a working .mdl so i can look at it ingame ? link ? ^^ I love the ZBrushed alien , looks awesome Quote
tomdon Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 My only real crit is it feels a bit over enginered. Thats some hefty woodwork to just hold up a few tiles. Quote
ReNo Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 I assume it would also be used to hold the winch and bucket that would be designed to go with the well Even so, it does look a little bulky. Quote
CyanideCotdPnuts Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 WIP. Model is around 4700 tris and the texture is about 60% complete, I just have to do the pants, hands, and backpack. Quote
tomdon Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 His left arm looks like its bent downards like his elbow is smashed. His eyes need some red around the edges, and a bit of shadow as well. Quote
CyanideCotdPnuts Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 Eyes are just placeholders, and the arm looks odd because of the angle, it's an exact mirror of the other. Quote
SnipaMasta Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 His cheeks are just plain patches of colour Quote
von*ferret Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 I love the chain mail. The leather could use some more work. btw better renders would show off your work better including rendering on a proper image. The explosion detracts from your work. Your work should be the forefront of our attention. I get distracted. While its a cool idea, it simply isn't nescessary for model sheets. Quote
von*ferret Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 a cubicle I did today. I'm playing with the idea of making them physics objects and start detaching when grenades or explosions go off. Quote
