I am working on a German Jäger for bg2. He is going to replace the current Loyalist class. I think he is going to be armed with a rifle so will be pretty potent in fights.

Its all wip btw, he still needs to go through several layers of texture detailing.

Nice work so far tomdon, what's the polycount? Guess it has to be much lower than usually with source, since there are those line battles and such.

I gotta download the latest bg, always enjoyed it on HL1 :)

I got bored. Polycount's 592 and it's on a 512² texture.

ALOT of wasted texture space! you could get alot more of pixel density on the model

Here's a quick doodle i made out of a sphere with a sculpting application you will soon hear alot more about:

Most of the stuff you may think is plain space is actually the inside of it, it's just darker. Although yeah, it is a bit of waste :-D .
