Sindwiller Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 I also got this ingame (oldish model): I think it needs a normal and a spec map. It does not look very realistic without bumpiness. Wfr, Sindwiller Quote
Nysuatro Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 I like your style, very nice and clean. But its just the pink. Maybe a little bit more broun would be cool Quote
General Vivi Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 I have been working again on my Tmp_lodge map . I drew a small squigly design for these chairs on my note pad and this is the way they came out. regular version curved versions I actually used this skin on about 8 different models already . It's a very helpfull skin. c&c are welcome  Quote
Sindwiller Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Looks very neat. I love your style. Its very stylish Wfr, Sindwiller Quote
JAL Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Looks very good (and original). I especially like the curved ones. Quote
Zeta Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Looking good except that the wood ends on the second pic look like the have drawn black outlines on them. Quote
General Vivi Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 thats because thats the wireframe zeta Quote
Acumen Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 *yawn* bedtime since there's holidays now, i finally have the time to quickly texture these models for the dm map of a buddy of mine. since the map is quite dark, nobody will see the texturing issues lucky me \o/ Quote
General Vivi Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 yeah man that looks pretty sweet Quote
TeddyBear Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 I like the design generalvivi, looks comfy And CyanideCotdPnuts, your skin is really coming along now and it's a nice model too. I had a rough time making my mind up where to post this but it ended up here. The reason for this is that I'm not really a modeler (heh, this model is done in MilkShape3D, does that even count? ); the model is more for experimenting with the textures I'm working with. The diffuse map is not very interesting but I've been fiddling with new normal mapping techniques that produces photo-realistic results. Now, this render is very cheap but I think it shows off the normal map pretty well (bare in mind that this is a rather low poly model). When I'm happy with the textures I will start with making a subsurface scattering shader for it to make it look a bit more true to reality. (Don't mind the forehead, hair will go there eventually) And part of the normal map: It's [the overall result] in pretty early stages right now (still not remarkably photo realistic) but I think it's coming along. I'll post updates when I have them and if people are interested Quote
