El Moroes Posted April 20, 2015 Report Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) I don't understand, I can't take any screenshots with Fraps (doesn't work with Steam too). It works with other games but not here... Edited April 20, 2015 by El Moroes Quote
El_Exodus Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Steam Screenshots work fine for me. ______________________________ Cool guys don't look at explosions. TheOnlyDoubleF 1 Quote

Beck Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Does anyone else have fucking immense loading times? I can literally wait for about 5 minutes between races... Yeah I get some long loading times online too. I only get them online so I guess the servers can't handle all of the connections. I hope it gets better! Quote
Pampers Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 The overall menu flow in mp is horrible, you spend 10 min loading and setting up, play for 2 mins, then 10 min with lobbies, menues and loading again. This part of the game is still very consolized still. P2p makes everything dodgy and random as well. But heists are awesome and work well jackophant 1 Quote
jackophant Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 I've also encountered a few problems where my game is still running, but input isn't registered. For example, I just drove my car into my newly (and first) purchased building. Screen faded to black and when it returned I was standing next to my car unable to move. I walked off and left it for a bit, but came back to someone shooting me in the back, so I was in the game, I just couldn't play it... It's happened a few times entering/leaving missions and just generally being stuck in buildings. 70% of my time on GTA has been waiting, and I just don't have space on my SSD for it :'( Quote
Vaya Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 my install is on my hybrid hdd. it's not too bad- I think my processor is a bottleneck on my system in general - i5 750 (5 years old...) so I've just bought a new one. jackophant 1 Quote

Vaya Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) nah I got a new mobo too Intel Core i5 4690K 3.5GHz - 6MB Cache ASRock B85 Pro4 Motherboard ~£250 with some thermal paste. Edit I found the worst motherboard ever when searching: http://www.ebuyer.com/546303-asus-h81-plus-socket-1150-8-channel-hd-audio-atx-motherboard-h81-plus LOOK AT THOSE CONNECTIONS Edited April 21, 2015 by Vaya Quote
jackophant Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 the I/O connections? that's an H81 chipset board, that's like... the lowliest budget of all low budgets for the 1150 socket. But you've gone for the budget business chipset. Seems a shame to dress that beautiful, unlocked devil's canyon i5 in rags Either way, have fun with the new power under the hood Quote
Vaya Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Meh couldn't justify spending another 50-60 on a mobo on top of the processor costs just now to be honest. it's a decent update from the mobo+processor it has just now Quote
Beck Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 70% of my time on GTA has been waiting, and I just don't have space on my SSD for it :'( An SSD won't help since it appears to be the actual connecting to other players/sessions which is taking so long. The actual loading is pretty fast normally. Quote
Vaya Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 isn't it the social club program that deals with the session handshakes? Maybe just need to install that on an SSD... I think it the social club thing is a drag on the overall performance. Quote

I realise the connections to other players/sessions won't be aided by the SSD, but I still have a pretty long initial load into singleplayer from desktop or switching to solo from online as well. Glad to see they finally updated the iFruit app as well, now to mod my cars from my phone Beck 1 Quote
