It's worth playing since it's a breath of fresh air and because it will keep you on your toes. I'm not the biggest fan though and there are some flaws... but the narrator pretty much sells it

You don't need HL2 installed to be able to play btw.

Pretty cool, aside from the obvious visual flaws. The only thing that bugged me a little about it was

the overlong voice-over sections when you are forced to just stand and listen with nothing else to do. If i wanted that i would have downloaded an audio book

. Decent though, well worth a go.

Was quite cool but I think you guys overhyped a bit, but definitely worth trying out.

Loved the bit where you go down the stairs instead of up, and then you start walking around these rooms, and about the time when the narrator says "these rooms started looking all the same" you had made a full circle back to the first room by the stairs.

Really like the idea of a short series of branching paths and then having lots of replay value in seeking them out, wouldn't mind more of this kind of stuff (Yeah, back to Dragon's Lair )

I think you should actually play the Demo. From what I have heard the demo alone is its own game entirely and just a prologue of sorts to the Full game, you would be missing out.
