I'm not sure if it's free, but can I have a playtest tomorrow, thursday on the 18th March (at 21:00 CET) for my map de_pontifici? (). It'll be the only time I can playtest before the end of the deadline. Otherwise, no problems :)

 

(I'll make sure to have a radar and 20 playerslots ready by tomorrow!)

 

Hey, I'm sure you meant the 19th and it's already fully booked, sorry. Take a look at the schedule to find a date that is open and fits you. Also, what deadline are you talking about?

Oh yes, indeed, I ment the 19th. The deadline, unless extended, will be this Sunday. I kind of expected it to be fully booked (though didn't see a scedule) so this is entirely my fault. I should've playtested earlier. I will playtest after the deadline of the contest instead and rely on the feedback of other testers first then :)

Some feedback for the new PT plugin:

 

-The votes for the impression for the map start immediately after the beginning of a round, this totally screwed with my buy-action. Not sure if i'm the only one with the problem.

-When chatting normal in the game, it always said, that the feedback is saved. Or at least most of the time. I feel like this message should only appear when we use the feedback commands.

Yeah, I heard about this problem, but I really don't know if there is any other way than removing the polls, and I feel they are great addition to see if you're on the right track or not. I'm going to hit Splewis up if there's alternative. Meanwhile, as a workaround, you could create a custom buyscript for your most used guns. This was a bug with the newest build of the plugin. It should be fixed for the next playtest.

The incorrect display of voting percentages will also be fixed.

Sv_full_alltalk 1, which also didn't work, will be fixed as well( this means, we'll be able to hear what spectators say or write again).

Hey, it'd be great if I could reserve a spot for 31.03.15 as well. The BSP file will arrive later so that I can continue working on it until then! The WIP title is DE_Solitude.

I wanted to let you know that the Global Offensive Subreddit /r/globaloffensive is offering 5v5 playtests.

 

They have pretty specific conditions, so make sure to meet them before submitting your map:

We are looking for near-complete competitive maps with compelling visuals that are seeking for extra feedback and competitive demos. Exceptions for maps in earlier stages in development (such as greyboxes) may be made based on community interest.

Please only submit maps that are your own or that you are a major contributor on. Please only include one map per form submission. The order in which we playtest maps will be decided based on certain situational criteria. We much prefer to play maps that are actively being worked on rather than playing maps that haven't been updated in quite a while.

At present, only maps that have been uploaded or are soon to be uploaded to the workshop will be considered.
