Zyn Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 Oh my ... and focus on games from the 80's? Oh yeeeesssss! "Excite Bike" remake? Quote
Steppenwolf Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 That's cool. I believe thats the third or even fourth studio that spawned from the ruins of Grin. However i think it will take a couple years until any of them will be ready to work on a rather big game again. But then i dont know what Bo and Ulf are up to with their new studio. They still have all the technology and a lot of industry contacts. Quote

Minos Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 fatshark Yep the same dudes who made Lead and Gold on Grin's engine. Looking forward! Quote
Steppenwolf Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Ah cool, didn't knew that BCR:2 is still in development. Quote
-HP- Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Yeah, maybe i should have create a new thread since this one still leave a bit of a negative feeling around. Still, let's not forget the awesome stuff that GRIN did on it's existence! <3 Quote

Finally jumping, i loved Rearmed but not being able to jump was realy annoying. Same here. I really love having a nice platform game that you can play in coop with a friend, but the puzzle-like movement made the game very frustrating and counter-intuitive. I also hope they keep the new swinging mechanic we developed in Gothenburg where you could release a swing manually and getting a little extra momentum if you timed it well. Really looking forward to the release of this game Aren't many good platformers out there. Quote
Erratic Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 If you play rearmed for more than 15 minutes its not hard to see why there's not a jump. Quote
