Sa74n Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Posted August 16, 2004 i updated the thread with 2 new screenshots .. look at page1 Quote
Evert Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 Very nice new pics. Maybe change the roof to some old brown/red clay ones. Quote
Sa74n Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Posted August 16, 2004 yet another shot added.. vh overview Quote
insta Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 Amazing stuff. What textures are you using, and what mod is this for? Quote
FrieChamp Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 /me points to "de_"ungarn I'd like to know who made those sexy textures as well tho, looking pwn~ Quote
Sa74n Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Posted August 16, 2004 most is selfmade. though, i used a base texture from the torn wadfile that i modified to have framework. a few other textures are also from torn (like a door or wood barrel and stuff) Quote
Crackerjack Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 The second screent shot needs some lighting fixture or something changed, its just way to blan in that area.. and there are no shadows. Other than that its look awesome. Quote
EjrulF Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 Very goo! I like the style, looks like a really cosy little village. But I wonder how the r_speeds reacts on such compact mapping? Quote
Sa74n Posted August 16, 2004 Author Report Posted August 16, 2004 remember that it's still a wip a lot of model detail is about to come and atm there are almost no lights besides the sunlight. EjrulF: the speeds are fine. between 400-900. i'm not sure how strong the churchtower will affect the r_speeds in certain areas though.. I'll see it after the next compile Quote
Minos Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 Now I'm impressed with your brushwork but the map needs more variation and sexier lighting, but as u said its still wip. /me lix Sa74n Quote
IR Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 looks sweet but the roof texture on the bottem of the roofs look meh perhaps some wood/beam ceiling type a thing would look better. and im not a fan of vertical walls ( vertical side of the roof ) with rooftexture on them besides those things i could spot.. like it lots Quote
