I feel like it misses the point of Doom, in a way.  Doom is an 80s metal album cover made into a game.  The remake sounds like Skrillex stuck a Doom midi into one of his songs, imo.

Yeah, I know what you mean, not a fan of the brrrruuum hollywood fucking synth we see everywhere now, but a frachinse like this also has to move on, if I want to replay Doom 1 I'll replay Doom 1.
