yeah, I was very skeptical on whether or not to rebuy this after having finished it one on PS3 already, but with all the extra shit they're adding to the game, weapons, cars, missions, FPS mode, etc, it's more than worth it to get it again.

What a bs selling point though, practically every game released in the last 6-8 years support 4k.  It's mostly a question of ui scaling (most games have no issue as it's 16:9)+driver support (p sure all drivers rn support 4k).

 

But hey, I heard that the PC version SUPPORTS MOUSE AND KEYBOARD HOLY SHIT.

lol, that's a good point. Question is, do 8 year old games really support 4k? I'd bet the HUD would look fucked because back then they weren't vectored, among other shit that becomes a problem when you try to render a 4k image at a decent frame rate. Seems like they're actually going through the trouble of making 4k res an actual good experience, and not a hack res you changed the .ini file somewhere.

 

But what the fuck do i know. lol

I can barely name any 8 year old games at this point.  I bet CoD 2 could do it, plus the hud was mostly vector fonts so it won't look that bad.  A bunch of games back then didn't have m/any res options, though.  Looking at games in the past three or four years, Scaleform took the fuck over so lots of stuff looks p decent.

Visually it does look better, but the extra pedestrians/wildlife definitely look like it'll be the biggest improvement~

They mention specifically PS4/XBONE are locked to 30fps, but not PC. Fingers crossed it's not locked on PC, deciding factor for me buying this on PC!

 

Even if it was, I cant imagine that not being something you could go simply go around.
