D3ads Posted June 2, 2009 Report Posted June 2, 2009 Looks nice as always but I really want to see some gameplay, sick of this cinematic shit, it's a game not a film. Quote
D3ads Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Finally, some sodding gameplay! http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-09-alan-wake/50062 Looks cool, reminds me of an American "Siren". Quote
Thrik Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Looks fuckin' awesome IMO! I like that bullet time is in there. Definitely what I expect from a Remedy game, and to be honest I think this'll feel closer to Max Payne than the real Max Payne 3. Quote
D3ads Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Max Payne 3. We need a word filter that changes that to "Far Resident Evil Cry Payne Theft Auto" Quote
Sentura Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 the running animation and the way he held the flashlight kinda broke the immersion for me. it looks good though, sort of like a mix between silent hill and max payne. Quote
Mazy Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 I donno, I hope there's more to it than just some light based gameplay. I mean it looks alright, but what initially thrilled me about Alan Wake was the investigative stuff that they hinted you'd be doing during daytime. I'm sure I'll play it once it comes out and that its gonna be good stuff, but I'm just not excited for it at all for it if I based it solely on what they showed at Microsoft's conference. Quote
JohnC Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Microsoft published game may not come to PC. Earth thought to be round. More on these and other stories, plus your local weather at 10. Quote
Sentura Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 Earth thought to be round. More on these and other stories, plus your local weather at 10. don't joke around, man. Quote
-HP- Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 lol... I don't care about this game anymore. I'll play it when it's out, ok... Quote
Izuno Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 Feeling more like an undefined conceptual disaster in the making due to how long it seems to be taking. Still, for all we know this could be the greatest game ever when released, but it's starting to face an uphill climb with many who once were enamored with it. Otherwise, what Mazy said. Quote
sarge mat Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 I was always going to play it for 360 but it really annoys me that Microsoft went on about this Games for Windows thing and then focuses on the likes of "Bee Movie" as your flag ship game. If they had some balls they would have had the likes of Halo Wars and Alan Wake coming to PC on day one and a PC version not a console port with a UI built for controllers. Quote
-HP- Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 http://www.eurogamer.net/videos/exclusi ... on?size=hd pretty interesting, has new gameplay as well. See it. Quote
-HP- Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Like we care anymore, but.. http://oxm.com.mx/noticias/egs-2009-en-vivo-alan-wake/ Quote
