Is it just going to be cosmetics which need paying for? I'm sure they could create loads of different suits of armour and all that from the entire star wars universe and people love cosmetics so I'm sure they'd make a pretty penny for it. BF1 was the first Battlefield I didn't buy the season pass for. Mostly due to a tight budget but also due to being let down by other season passes in previous BF's. I always found the player numbers dwindled more and more with each DLC release with the community becoming more splintered. It'd be nice to keep all the players on all the maps and just put the cosmetics behind the pay walls. I don't have any details regardless if I could share them or not. There will for sure be something in place of it no doubt. I am just happy we can get away with one of the largest flaws that has been separating every game player base. Quote

They said that feedback on the previous one made it clear that the season pass didn't work out and that they heard the cries for more content, progression, etc. So maybe they'll take the Titanfall 2 route? All the maps and modes are free, but you have micro-transactions for cosmetics. 7 hours ago, Dark said: I don't have any details regardless if I could share them or not. I'm all for losing the splintering of the community so if this is the route they're going then that's great. Hopefully other games follow suit! Dark 1 Quote

Dark Posted August 22, 2017 Report Posted August 22, 2017 (edited) Some beauty shots of Criterion's Starfighter Assault mode! Edited August 22, 2017 by Dark Zarsky 1 Quote
Sprony Posted August 23, 2017 Author Report Posted August 23, 2017 So I played the Starfighter mode. I didn't care for space battles to be honest, but I do now. It was quite intense en very well executed. Controls are smooth, the visuals spot on and you can buy Hero ships with your battle points or upgrade your ship with star cards. You also have classes in Starfighter and it works really well. I'm impressed. Quote
