Did someone change the meaning of the words in exact this combination "Release Date"? 

I don't even know why they keep telling us release dates instead of just saying its done when its done.

What bother me even more is that they are even announcing that the 14th, game will be available but will not be fully tested / ready for release.

 

As always, we ask for the GTA PC community’s understanding and assistance in helping to report any concerns during the early days of launch when those inevitable initial teething issues arise on the new platform.

It is slightly annoying. I was just talking about it's release being just over a month away with my friend last night!

 

Oh well, hopefully the release will be solid for most people and we'll all forget about the delays. But like AyzOn said, it'd be nice if they just stopped dangling a carrot in front of our faces.

Releasing a game at that scale with zero hiccups is probably impossible. I don't care about delays as long as the product is good

I think having more time to polish which results in rls dates pushed back is one of the minor problems of gamedev

Why do people do the knee jerk over reaction when this gets delayed? No one really seems to freak out when Witcher 3 gets delayed each time.

Because Witcher 3 hasn't been a month or two weeks away before a delay.  It's been far enough away that it doesn't really matter.  Plus, it's not out on other platforms.

It was close enough to February when it was announced that it would be delayed, then again after that.
