Hey John There are several things that annoy me: - the home page is completely useless : put some work over here so we can get a quick overview of your work. It would be much better as a first impression. I just thought "oh ok, the site is not working." - The banner at the top with your name etc must bring back to your home page. - Scrolling menus on the tool bar are the worst: the less you have to search or click, the better it is. Just put your best work on one page for each category. Plus right now "environment art" is all alone, just like concept art and there's no need to separate 3D & 2D games in my opinion. So you'll end up with 4 buttons "3d" "2d" "tools" "games" on the left tool bar and each button goes to one page Simple. - For each project, would be must better that you explain what you did on the project and explain your pipeline if it's possible. The result is indeed important, but the workflow is much more important to me, especially for a technical guy. - Same thing in the "games" category: tell us what you did, what you achieved. We don't even no if you modeled assets, textured them or what! Finally, for the resume, it's really not understandable: - The first thing is really a personal thought: I hate resumes I can't download. - If you don't want to write you adress and phone number, just don't write it, you'll gain space and lighten the page to simplify the reading. - The "work experience" part is hard to understand. What are the first three lines for ? Nothing for me. We learn absolutely nothing interesting from it. - For a position, explain once more what you did, what were you tasks, you responsabilities, your achievements. Ok your were a designer on this project, what were you in charge of ? The first level ? The whole game? Explain. - I don't understand the thing with the school. You were student there and you were employed after that? That's not clear at all. - And again, I think there's a lack of details in you IT skills. That's it for me. Good luck!

Hi @Squad The template is good but I think we miss some key informations like : - Your name and position at the top of your portolio => your banner is useless, you could use it for this - You don't explain what you actually did on your projects. You say what your colleagues did, but not what is your concern. Be more specific on your tasks and achievements. I would say: "Tasks : I did -this -this -this -this -this - this -this Achivement: DE_ZOO was featured on CSGO and is part of the MOTHERFUCKING Operation Bloodhound". The overall is really good and I think it only misses this kind of informations. The first time I saw it I thought, "well, he probably did some good work, but he doesn't feel very confident about it". Love

EZ Three trainings a week can be fine. You can start back with two or three weeks of full body training to get your body back on tracks. There, mainly practice polyarticular mass exercices (ask to people at the gym or google it(don't know if you've already done bodybuilding or not)). By doing this, you'll find exercices that fit you well, the ones you like or like. Write it down and keep them in mind, you'll build your true train with them. After theses two or three weeks, you can start a split program on three days a week. I would split the body training like this : Training 1 : Pectoral / biceps / Abs Training 2: dorsal/triceps Training 3: Legs / shoulders For each training, first of all, warm your body up! Then, the two first exercices must be polyarticular mass exercices. This is the best way to gain body mass. Two warm-un exercices and the 4 series of 8 to 12 reps. It's not really useful to count the reps. This way you'll meet miss congestion, and you'll love her. For the big muscles groups, The second exercice must be a polyarticular mass exercice. (pectoral, dorsal, legs). For the little muscles groups (shoulders, biceps, triceps, calves, abs) , you can do a new polyarticular mass exercice or an insulation exercice. For the big muscles groups, The third exercice must be a polyarticular mass exercice. (pectoral, dorsal, legs).You can also do isulation exercices for all the muscles groupes but the big one will be more difficult to work out on isolation. 4 series of 10 to 15 reps Same for the fourth exercices. Firth series, same but you can do more reps and take less rest. Finally, stretch your body !!! For the diet, you have to decrease : - the salt, the white bread, white pasta and rice, dairy products, prepared dishes full of salt, sodas, biscuits, sugars etc Why salt? Salt causes water retention and make syou thirsty so you drink sodas or beers. Select : whole-wheat cerals pasta, rice and bread, eat more and more fruits and vegetables, fowl meat, meat, meat and meat, eggs and finally, fish. This can be progressive 'cause it can be tough to follow. You'r good to go.

@Corwin @seir But to get a junior position, do you have to know exactly which way to go ? Let me explain. I've worked on several small projects as game designer or level designer, probably something like 45/55. Just like I did at Eden Games where i've been 4 months level designer and 4 months game designer. Now on school projects, I've also often been the project manager 'cause I've obtained school mates' respect. So, I love game design, I love level design, I like managing a small team, I love the technical side of a project. I don't have any preferences right now, I love all of it. SInce I can get a technical job, it would be fine to me. What should I do? Should I apply to both game design and level design positions? I don't want to keep working in small teams, I want to be at Epic, Ubisoft, Avalanche, Arkane, Wild, Playground, Techland and others. What does the industry need right now? -

I had my first date with a girl from the dating app today. Weirdest ever. The girl added me on the app during lunch time and she starts the conversation. After 2 messages she asks for a meeting tonight. Obviously, I agree. So we met, the first thing she said to me was: "I broke up with my boyfriend one month ago". Ok, that gives you the atmosphere. The first impression I got was "OMG she's so empty". Then she talks about her bank job blablabla to the point that she talks about a job she could have had in Algeria. I said "cool, you could have a great weather". Here comes the big event, she says : "Oh no, i just can't. Oh yeah btw I forgot to tell you one thing, I'm racist." WTF "I can't stand muslims and arab people. My grand parents are like this, my parents too". I laughed so loud some of you may heared me, I thought about Luke' speech in the Star Wars 7 trailer. Weiiiirrddooooo. She switched on another subject and two minutes later she stands up and says :"well i'll be honest with you, You do not please me so i'm gonna leave now". AHAHAHAH So I stand up and say "Yeah ok, it's probably the best thing to do as I do have a black friend". She leaves without saying a word. That was the funny story of the day.

Tired. Tired. Tired. What a month. We've been working on the pre production of Feral, our final year project, for about 3 months. I'm the project manager and one of the three designers. But i'm also a real tech pillar for the team, whether it be for the workflow, for perforce or UE4. No procrastination allowed ^^ I barely have enough time to do my own tasks. But the project is going really well so i'm satisfied. Good team, good people, good workers. Guys, If your studio is looking for talented interns to start in july 2016, ask me and hire them. I can't preddict how big will be the project in june but I know it will be very cool to play and to watch. In the mean time, I'm finishing to production of ULTRAFLOW 2. I kinda drive the project too, design and manage the communication and the PR things. It's going well so far, the project is nearly finish and should be out for Christmas. We are creating a company so we can get money out of this project and guess who we will be the CEO? Me. I'm so tired. I just want to get a real job so I can get back home after work and simply do whatever I want, like watching TV, going out, dating, playing or absolutely nothing... just like normal people. I just need to seperate my work space and my home. I'm back to the gym btw. It feels so good, I really needed it. ANNND I signed up on a dating app. I mean a real one, not the tinder thing. It feels kinda strange, I haven't talked much to women since I'm single but in two weeks I've talked to 24 beautiful girls... Wtf. I should have missed something irl. Didn't date one yet, but it's coming. *hope* So it takes time too. It's funny and exhausting at the same time. Sunday afternoons are the worst to manage: nobody's doing anything so everyone wants to talk. Last sunday, I managed 13 discussions at the same time from 1a.m to 2p.m. I wrote messages all day long to the point that I couldn't remember what I was talking about with who. I'm scared for today.

Hi guys, beside Ultraflow 2 by night, I'm working on my final year project with a team of 7 people by day. Just wanted to show you our first progresses. This is called Feral, it's a hunting game in which you control a wild animal that has to hunt other animals to survive. But you can also be the prey of other predators and be hunted. I'll try to post a video of the prototype soon to show you what we've done to make you feel like a beast (and it's pretty cool )

The hardcore mode will be available in the Premium version of the game. We are a company now so... you know... business. On the first game, there were about 20% of people that finished the game (so, on a base of over 3M players, it means 600k). So it is still a lot! We received loads of emails from players who wanted to get more levels. We still have 11k players everyday nearly one year after the game's release. But honestly, the difficulty curve of the first one is terrible, our process was shit and I'm not proud of it even if I'm happy with our results. This one is way better: we had a true worflow, a lot of levels review and ietration. It's way smoother. Forget impossible random throwing levels. There will be 180 levels for the free version for several reasons: we had a bunch of new ideas with our new gameplay mechanics. But also, we will add few ads in this version so we want you to play and keep playing.
