I want advice on breaking into game development industry
Hey everyone, I have been super interested in game development for a while now & really want to get my foot in the door. I have been learning some basics of 3D modeling texturing and a bit of coding but honestly still feel a bit overwhelmed with where to focus next. I want to build a solid portfolio but not sure what projects will impress studios or what skills are most in demand right now. I want to know about any good resources or communities that helped you when you were starting out. I found a jira course online which seems helpful for managing projects but want to know if mastering tools such as this really makes a difference. How did you stay motivated when things got tricky? Any tips for networking or finding internships would also be amazing. Really appreciate any advice or personal stories you can share. I want to hearing from you all and getting inspired to take the next steps in this crazy exciting field! Thank you.:) -
