st0lve Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 wow.. remake all of the "used" textures, and I'll prolly make an hldm map with the "standar" textures :-o That orange color is a little to strong I think.. Quote
mikezilla Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 um you're not using powers of two which reak havoc on video cards remember kids 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512 ONLY!!!!!! Quote
kleinluka Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 crai. could have at least worked in powers of 2! (edit: mikey beat me on that one ) I think you used the sharpen filter too much as they all seem too grainy to me. Your bevels/edges are too clean and straight. Quote
Guest The_Postman Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Oh mikey! Seriously though I like this idea, everyone jump on it! Quote
Squad Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 I think he just "copied" the sizes from the originals (they're not powers of 2 either), as that's easier to work. They're not meant to be used in a map anyway (correct me if I'm wrong), so it doesn't really matter. Other than that, looking good! I agree the organe is a tad too strong. Quote
DelaZ Posted August 31, 2004 Author Report Posted August 31, 2004 About the power of 2 thingie... I just took the sizes of the default textures and resized the largest side to 512 :/ Thanks for the comments Quote

jfas Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 the orange is a bit strong, but my first thought was "rad" so i like it Quote
FrieChamp Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Oh I dig those textures, nice Delaz~ Quote
DelaZ Posted August 31, 2004 Author Report Posted August 31, 2004 A little bit to "overdone" ... OLD 96 x 96 NEW 512 x 512 256 x 256 Quote
kleinluka Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 whats with all the grain dude lol. thats insane Quote
Campaignjunkie Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Those look pretty good. I think the teal lab-wall textures are probably too concrete / dirty though to be used in a hi-tech laboratory, especially considering how it is used at the beginning of Half-Life. Quote
