I missed the playtest because my internet didn't work; is the recorded demo avaliable?

I took some time to improve the playtest config a little. With these changes the playtests should be more to the point with having a set amount of rounds that are being played each half (12 rounds) and players swapping sides automatically. Further details can be found in the changelog listed below.

New play test changes look good, particularly the 12 rounds each side; Winning team from previous half gets full play of other team is a dream come true!

 

And can we have block on as standard? Makes for more thorough map testing, especially as I imagine most people are aiming their map to be competitive.

mp_solid_teammates 0 is currently the standard. I would like to keep it that way since playing 10vs10 with solid teammates is pretty obnoxious most of the time. Map creators can still ask for this setting to change when testing their map, of course.

Hey 'RZL, I've been working on my map a lot recently and I'll be posting an updated version to go along with the playtest, and I'd like GOTV recording just in case something on my side screws up. Oh and happy new year!

While you're at it, improve the lighting! I can already see that it's way too dark.

Playtesting sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 21:00 CEST. We playtest a maximum of 2 maps per playtest.
 
For map creators:
If you want your map tested, post in the thread and suggest a day that is suitable for you. If the above mentioned time isn't a good fit, let us know and we can probably work something out!
 
Prior to the test you will have to send 'RZL one .bsp file, one .nav file and an optional .kv file. All custom content (models, materials, sounds, mapradar) needs to be packed into the bsp. For this, you can use Pakrat. He'll take care of the rest!
 

 

Submissions can be considered accepted if they appear in the schedule, this can take up to 24 hours.
