Wish I could have made it to my playtest, but school was a conflict. Thanks to anyone who participated for departure's first alpha, I'll be taking a look at the GOTV later.

Make a thread for it in 3D.

A lot of people (me included) thought the scale was off and there wasn't enough (any) cover.

Thanks for the input. Lucky for me, I'nm getting an error reading demo message data so I can't watch the recording at the moment.

I would like to have a playtest on de_Osna again. Been working on it for a while, still WIP though. As soon as possible would be nice, I'll post the files when I get a date. Thanks!

Hi 'RZL,

 

On the schedule, there is an open slot for the 03.02.15 playtest. If it hasn't already been filled, would it be alright if I could have de_neutron tested tonight? I'm sorry that I haven't given much warning.

It should contain the .bsp, the .kv, and the .nav, plus the .dds and .txt for the overview, if they didn't pack correctly.

 

It would also be very good for me if the demo could be recorded, as my timezones and ping probably won't let me join.

Playtesting sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 21:00 CEST. We playtest a maximum of 2 maps per playtest.
 
For map creators:
If you want your map tested, post in the thread and suggest a day that is suitable for you. If the above mentioned time isn't a good fit, let us know and we can probably work something out!
 
Prior to the test you will have to send 'RZL one .bsp file, one .nav file and an optional .kv file. All custom content (models, materials, sounds, mapradar) needs to be packed into the bsp. For this, you can use Pakrat. He'll take care of the rest!
 

 

Submissions can be considered accepted if they appear in the schedule, this can take up to 24 hours.

Edit: I'am confused about the time lol... I live in Stockholm and will be home 21.15 local time. Last time I tested a map I recall we started at 22.00 and thought it did now aswell. But after some googling I believe that I will be a little late for this, if it infact starts at 21.00 (stockholm time :P). In that case I'd be super glad if I could get a recording of the game or if you want to play the other map first. Either way I'll try to hurry.
