  3. Bots are not boring, they fill in the gaps between pilot encounters. They are a very strategic part of Titanfall actually. They are easy to kill, easy to spot and their behavior is really different than a human pilot. Killing them reduce the cooldown of your Titanfall... You can also play mind games and lurk around enemy bots to surprise an unsuspecting pilot that make false assumption that if friendly bots are running around, no enemy pilots must be in the area! RIGHT? noope This game kicks ass.It's a constant adrenaline rush into my veins tbh. Fluid superb controls + great level design + great overall weapon balance = this game is awesome! I played about 10 hours at my friend's house and I'll soon upload one hell of a killstreak sequence that will make you understand how the game is supposed to be played.

  5. So I noticed 128 tickrate cs:go servers slow down doors openings. What the hell are we supposed to do?

      Make them smash apart when you walk into them, it'll make everyone feel like RoboCop while providing some excitement during the period before the teams meet.

      CS Source had the same issue with tick 100 and doors. Basically fix there was to set phys_timescale to 2.00 (default 1) so the doors would move normally. This cvar doesn't exist in CSGO. It also had side effects. People on elevators kept dropping through floors (which is why L4D2, the tickrate is always locked to 30 on servers) and it also made physics objects move faster.

  7. Making big changes to my map yet again... for the best D: The biggest lesson i've learned with this project is.. don't get attached to your work. It is part of a design process to construct/deconstruct a map and I'm happy that I still have motivation to finish my project (even if i'm close to development hell)

    Is there a way to watch scrims/pugs on de_crown, in order to have a better understanding of your design choices? (can't wait 3rd part ! )Right now, It feels like rotate time are too much (roughly 20 seconds to get to Bombsite A from B , CT rotating counter-clockwise). I wonder what would be the effect of moving "Underpass" to "Sniper" ,so that it is linking Courtyard and Sniper in a more direct path between both bombsites and making backstabbing possibilities like in de_inferno (one of your main inspiration) I really like the changes you have made since rc2 (walls on both bridges, breakable vent and the new path into B from ct-spawn. That nade spot over Squeaky will probably be crucial for terrorists, to be able to breach "Upper". Superb environment! Readability is great except maybe for the very dark wooden doors/stairs near ct spawn (lil bit nit picky) Also, is it intended to be able to plant bomb so that a terrorist that is outside Double-Doors at bombsite A, have a direct line of sight from that door hole? (easy wall spot as well) Final crit: Those flags move way too much compared to the trees, other static hanging eye candy stuff or even the soundscapes! Congrats on the release, can't wait for the 3rd part.

Why can't we all get along, we all fucking live on the same huge rock that will soon transform into a giant pile of shit if we don't stop religion and resource wars. Sorry.

  17. I got to play all the maps yesterday because I tried to get a new crate drop.. didn't happen but man... you think seaside is bad? You should try cs_downtown and cs_motel (holy labyrinthe uninteresting map) These 3 maps don't deserve a spot in my opinion. I quite liked the changes made to de_Ali. Good job sir!

    DICE Los Angeles (Danger Close --> Medal of Honor) made the China Rising pack. I agree Paracel Storm is my favourite, followed by Shanghai and Dawnbreaker (love the chopper in those 2 maps) I kinda like Guilian Peaks except for the millions of snipers. The other 3 are meh.. Dragon Pass is beautiful though! Rogue Transmission is really cool although I wished for a little bit more space between flags. Lancang Dam = worst unbalanced vehicle map in BF history. Don't know why they haven't taken all Air in the map. I did not like Metro so obviously Operation Locker is a no no. Flood Zone = Cool until the levelution starts. They should have integrated the flooding levelution in Lancang Dam, and make it a multi stage map (Flags below the dam, Flags above Dam) and make the lower part floodable. Goldmud Railway is good but AA are way too strong as there are basically no fucking cover for air vehicles anywhere on the map. Man BF2 maps were so awesome. Dragon Valley, Kubra Dam, Fushe Pass all had great environment for Air fighting. Zavod is unplayable in 64player conquest. It's fucking chaotic. Best to play 32/48 on it. Hainan Resort = Wtf no cover and the flags should have been more spread out. Seems like DICE tried to put a fucking boat in every map. Actually, I enjoy a lot more 32/48p BF3/BF4. BF2 teamplay, huge maps allowed for better 64p imo. I'm still loving BF4 but I hope they step up their game for the next 4 DLC. (Also why does it take so long to release Second Assault when it has been out since FOREVER on Xbox One) fuuuuuu Oh and they need to add customisation of the 3D hud elements -->Opacity mainly. This shit is annoying. Can't see shit most of the time when player align with some of the 3D HUD.
  20. When I shoot or slice the environment with my stock knife , HUGE wild puffs of smoke appear. (Really really white puffs) I think it might be related to your post process? I do not particularly like the contrast (everything seem too white, the grass for example) Also noticed you have a accessible toilet down the ladder in A bombsite. You have another toilet that is blocked with collisions in the construction area. Just make it consistent. Nonetheless, it looks great!! Just hope you can fix the contrast/bloom/HDR w.e is it that make the environment/white puffs.

    I did not realize that it is a mirrored map with complete different looks! I noticed a problem with one of the ladders that lead to the 2nd bridge. One of them extend past the ladder model.

  23. http://www.twitch.tv/nipgamingtv I'm watching the ESEA lan finals and the caster (Anders) said he would be interested in having custom specific weapon skins for his channel. Just dropping this here cause I know some of you are making skins.
