I didn't listen to much metalcore back in the day (early 2000s) and my main go-to for the genre was "Killswitch Engage" (because of Drop C tuning, twin guitar harmonies, powerful vocalist).

After 6 years since their last album, Maiden are back with a new album to be released on Sep 3.

They're in their mid 60s, and Bruce, the frontman, recently recovered from throat cancer, so a new album is a total surprise 

They just released a new single from the upcoming album (the animated movie made by former Pixar executives and long-standing Maiden fans)
