Always sad to see this happening, but it is important IMO it be highlighted when it does so it doesn't go unnoticed and so those affected can be helped back into work ASAP.

Good luck to all those affected, I was on the receiving end of a round of redundancies last year just before Christmas so know how galling it is to have your job ripped from beneath you at one of the most expensive times of year that's meant to be all joyful and shit...!
