i'd see well one piramid to be much larger In fact the one on the right is way bigger than the other one but it's not noticeable with the perspective. Also, with this camera position I think you are loosing a bit the effect you could achieve to show the scale of the view: what about a slightly larger fov, and a camera positioned a bit higher, like from a balcony overlooking this large platform. Or to make the buildings look tall maybe lower the point of view in respect of the horizon. The problem with putting a bit higher the camera is than we see a bit of the middleground and that's not the interest. I'll may change the ratio of the camera to make it larger and i'll see what i can with the camera positionning

To take a break from the ut map, I made a quick scene this afternoon NeoGizeh It's maybe a bit to brighter. Though, it's a preview light building, 'cause even medium quality was taking ssoooo much time. I'll add some particules on the foreground. I like the contrast between the old pyramids and the scifi city, but I feel like it would be cool to have a scifi texture on the pyramids too. What do you think ?

I've been working on my UT2014 map these days, and made many changes, especially in term of spaces. But I still got some empty spaces that i don't know how to use. I thought maybe I should try again to make it smaller, but i'm kind of stack right here. I left a link the project here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/eag5ktd7y9ptrmb/AAD9Sb2p_D9rPD24Gddv-PTGa?dl=0 or https://www.dropbox.com/home/FF%20DM_Elysium Let me know if you have an idea about all of this;

I didn't get crazy presents but food and money. But something crazy happened on that Christmas night: all my family played my last game Ultraflow, and especially my grandparents. It was their first video game. They saw their grandchildren play a few time but they had never played before that night. They have even never understood what I was doing in my studies. And i can tell you that this particular moment, watching them playing their first video game, their grandson's game, my own game, is strongly anchored deep into my head forever. You should have seen them, they were really into the game. Mobile devices are so great to make people like them discover our video game world. They get it very quickly and played few levels. I was so proud of it. It was even funny 'cause they really felt all the feelings we tried to put into the game in just few levels. Damn, it was an amazing moment, so much emotions for me. I still got some tears in my eyes while writing this. Now they know what I do and they are proud of it. So am I. So, I haven't had amazing stuff gifts but at least I had that, and this was amazing.

It's a pity Notch is not on Mapcore, It would have been a great point in the "What have you purchased recently?" thread.

Hey guys, I've been working with Ugui for a week now on a Far Cry 3 map with a perticular methodology... Ugui came to me and proposed me to create a map without planning anything. The was to bypass the fact that we couldn't work together at the same time on the project file. We didn't find neither how to copy/paste from a project to another. So, we didn't plan any layout nor sketches. We just agreed on the map's theme which is to make some Ha Long Bay style environment. We still don't know what gameplay we'll put into it but the process is pretty much exciting! One of the rule is that we can change/erase what the other has done without any problem, just to improve, if we fill it's better for the map. A few steps back but to go way forward. The fun is discovering everytime what the other has done sine the last time you worked on. And this is so inspiring! Plus, the map is pretty large so we have a bunch of things to do and that allows us to change our focus is we are pissed of some part of it. Of course, we loose few minutes each time we open the project file but the benefits are so great, so inspiring that it is totally worth it. The motivation is to the top 'cause the other can find and idea that will change the all thing and give you a whole new vision of the scene etc etc. This is probably the most joyful iteration process I've worked with 'till now! Of course, it's based on a strong confidence between us. After a week of cool work, beside other projects, here's what we've got:
