  5. I have found chernobyl always fascinating. People had no idea what was going on. A lot of people watched the fire from this bridge, having no clue it was killing them.

  15. I'm looking for a certain topic on mapcore but i cant find it. It's how to map one slice and then repeat it to make a full circle. It was done for TF2 and it where train depos if i remember correctly. I hope someone knows what i'm talking about.

  20. Could you formulate the issue here without relating to WW, then I will post it as an issue on github. And I hope for you they fix it soon, I have waited around 10 years before they fixed the 3d shaded textured preview bug in hammer. If CSGO wasn't such a great game I would have moved to unity or unreal engine all ready. Sure the new hammer will be great, and SFM is a really nice application but if valve keeps not caring about fixing bugs then I keep not caring about the tools valve is producing.

  23. Did you map anything yet? Personally sketching on paper never really worked for me. It was always good as a starting point and fun to do but I always ended up with something different. Maybe it's an idea to map the room first that has the most entrances / exits. Then from that room you can expend to wherever you like. For your first map I wouldn't worry to much about all the things. Instead of sketching on paper, I always prefered to fly a lot around with noclip and just imagine how the rooms could look. I might make a tutorial soon on how I mapped cause it's quite different from how I know most people do it.
