  4. Looks very nice sir, The buildings look a bit less than the rest of it, and the character standing on the airship. Maybe you could spice the buildings up with a bit more detail on the walls other than the stuff you have now. I really dig that grass, the net on the baloon, the airship itself, and the background. Nice painting
  5. There's also a couple of books out which refer very much to UnrealEd / are specific to this tool. But wow, 20 hours of video tutorials.... maybe I need to save up some cash to get that special edition afterall Pericolos0: What kind of package would you recommend thats affordable (or free if there's any good ones) and not to hard to learn? And can you use in-game taxtures on this geometry, or would you need to create your own textures?
  6. Maps like these make me want to spend more time at css. I loved siege in the older versions of the game, playing ct was really awsome and t had some cunning tactics to sneak up on cts all over the place too. Looks like a very nice erework n source this, i'll try to get a test play in to see how it runs but i trust it'll run fine if you sticked to the original layout
  7. hey, loks pretty interesting ,but i must disagree that working on a a newer tech engine is easier in anyway. surely recreating gears of war on the duke 3 engine is smewhat of an impossible feat ,but people need to keep in mind that when you work i na hl1 engine ,people expect hl1 results, when you work o na newer engine like u3, eople expect way more interesting and good looking levels. anyways.. going to check it out when it's released.

  11. Nice! on the same level as you there, rock n roll and medival... mmmm reminds me of playing 'die by the sword' with some iron maiden on xD (yes die by the sword that really old crappy game,... buy you could chop stuff to bits with a sword so it was fun)

Is there any webseeded download, torrents fail for me since i was stupid enough to buy a router which doesn't do port forwarding / opening... well.. there is a menu for it but that's broken lol Is this the real deal or is this some kind of beta demo? since i only want to check if it actually runs a bit on my machine. >.> if it's osme kind of uncompleted version i don't think ti'll give me a realistic idea of how it will run.
  13. I'd rather see the companies staying independent, but if Ea truely lets them do their own thing, it's ok i guess. And to be completely honest, if i owned a studio and someone offered me such an obscene amount of moneny for it... i'm not sure which way i would go since eventually people are working, working for money, more money = better no? It takes alot of self control and pride o turn down an offer that gives you so much money you'll never have to do anything again. If people weren't in it for the money ,they'd make mods like the communities spawn. not go work at some bigshot contracter right? So i can't say i blame them for 'selling out' really, and if EA does what they did with DICE it should be alright ,just a little more money for the company to spend on employees and game improvements i guess.

  15. From the looks of your screenshot, that's because your computer isn't very good. It might be that there's no vis blockers / alot of unseens architecture behind what you see in the image / alot of other reasons to be honest. You can't judge performance on a screenshot dude.
  16. Awsome stuff, you guys have any more basic tutorials on texturing? Like where to start if yóu want to get into to texturing, i've been wanting to learn it for a long time now but i never can find a good way to start

  23. Nope, the game was supposed to run on my machine ,somehow it gives me the same fps lag in whatever setting i put it too, followed a guide to tweak it which ruined my pc... now it's collecting dust on my shelf. hope it runs when i get an upgrade.
  24. I think the emptyness and blockyness kinda fits the theme, ofcourse not all maps should b like this ,but i think, for a single map, it's pretty cool ,since it was a test map anyways, if the gameplay is as good as you say, i don't think alot of players will ahve too much to complain
