  1. Watched Deadman ! Amazing movie that is not what is shows, and hilarious once you realise what the plot is
  2. guys, the hype http://dukenukem.com/ WHAT IS GOING ON
  3. The classic over hyping with fake gameplay trailers, because of the editor or because of the marketing team stupidity, more like shooting you in the foot if you want your studio to last, a bit better if you want to get the money of one single project and run
  4. errrrrrr blind try : the mist ?
  5. I remember losing the immersion and being very disappointed when i realised most of the loots in skyrim were randomized and will adapt to the level of your character. On the contrary, the procedural generation of the levels of FTL or Nuclear Throne for example don't get me out of the game. Dwarf fortress is also a great example. I do think procedural generation can be an added value, if its mechanic stays hidden or well dressed and you don't get "oh, another random event again" moments
  6. I think the problem is not procedural generation, it's when you clearly realise it's procedural generation
  7. Watched Elem Klimov Come and see. That is maybe the most frightening horror movie i've ever seen, if you would class it in that category. Actually i'm left with a nauseous feeling, and i will probably let some time pass before watching it a second time, although it was totally incredible.
  8. Dude that sucks take care <3
  9. Didn't knew the game, but you pretty much nailed it, thanks PS : it's amazing
  10. Looks really cool, and i know that's not the philosophy of insurgency, but one day i really wish to see a really realistic multiplayer shooter. Something more slowpaced with less accurate weapons, longer fire exchange, relying more on positioning and team tactics than on mouse coordination skill (kind of like brothers in arms). The weapons in this are awfully too precise, not in terms of weapon range and precision, but more because of the aiming capability of the player, and by that i mean you can shoulder your rifle in 0.5 second after a 200 meters sprint in rubbles to nail the head of the machine gunner deployed 70 meters in front of you. That is still too videogamey to be simulation, not saying that's it a bad thing though, the game is still really cool :D.

  12. I was thinking about it Ravage, but maybe that's not in terms of rich/poor you should think but in terms of tenants / landlords. I think that's why ikea and its cheap furniture works so well, there are a lot more people moving from place to place nowadays as tenants, mostly for work, they still need furniture, but they can't move the oak norman wardrobe everywhere if like me you changed place 5 times in 7 years. So what i did when i was living in england, is buying cheap ikea furniture like chairs and table, got an old couch someone gave me, built some shelves, and when i had to move, i left all the furniture on the street with a "free furniture, take what you need" sign. So if you invest in an unique 2050 euros table, that's for it to stay, maybe instead of reasoning in terms of rich or poor, you could think of people who stay and people who move. Because there are also not so rich landlords who plan to stay for years, and maybe would be buying an unique furniture if the price is not prohibitive.
  13. Just an idea like that browsing the sites you linked ravage, when i see this 2050€ table https://tylko.com/product/hub/3/ It looks awfully simple, but at the same time, there's stuff in terms of matter and form just impossible to do at home if you don't have the experience and the tools. Like that : Sounds obvious, but maybe you should value your work with such designs that only a professional can achieve. Ikea in better like you said
  14. Who is buying a wooden shelf 1500 euros ? There must be customers i'm certain, but it really boggles my mind, you have no idea. Last time i needed one, i found some old solid wood planks in the street, restored them and built myself one, not the prettiest one, although it has sentimental value now. Guess that must say something about my social class or something :D. Anyhow, good luck to you Ravage, wish this works !

  20. I have a small table to lay on to do the benchpress with the dumbbells for example. But... that's not exactly comfy to be honest ;p. Appart from comfort, the bench could be really useful because you can modify the angle of the back to work all the parts of the pectorals in case of bench press for example. So i dunno, maybe if i find a cheap one i can fold easily... And thanks for the advices guys !

  22. Alright, thanks a lot guys ! I definetely need to get me a bench with a long bar, that should be around 250 euros for everything though :s Got myself 2 dumbbells so far, with 4*5kgs so that make two 12 kg dumbbells. But i will need to get lighter weights. So far before going too serious and buying a bench, i think that would be cool if I stay with the 2 dumbbells and a traction bar, at least to get me in shape. So i made myself a simple newb program for the week : day 1 : tractions with a heavy backpack 4*5r (biceps and back) 1min rep curl with the two 12 kgs dumbbells 4*8r (biceps) 1min rep squat with the two 12kgs dumbbells 4*15r (quadriceps) 1min rep crunches legs on a chair with 5kg on the chest 4*20 (abdos) 30s rep cruches touching the opposite knee with the elbow 3*20 ( obliques) 30s rep day 2 : lateral elevation with 5kg in each arm 4*8 (shoulders) 1min rep benchpress with the two 12kgs dumbbells 4*12 (pectorals) 1min rep Lifting a 12kgs dumbbell behind the back with two arms 4*8 (triceps) 1min rep Dips between two chairs 4*12 (triceps) 1 min rep Pushups feet on a chair 3*15 (pectorals and triceps) 1min rep And then repeat that and leaving the weekend to rest. What do you guys think ? Does that sounds balanced enough for a start ?
  23. Hitting 30 and "strangely" i'm thinking about working out. I've been doing excercices at home like pushups, tractions and the like for several months now. So far it worked well, especially when i step up gradually the charge with more difficult positions or a heavy backpack. But i was thinking to use some equipement to be able to do more isolation work since i'm tall, thin with long arms. The thing is, I'm not too fond of the idea to go to the gym, it's expensive and a bit far from where i live, plus i like the idea to chill, put my own music and take my time at home. Is there any of you guys doing this at home ? What would you advise me to invest in for the basics of something more serious than just exercices with bodyweight ?
  24. That honda, it is so shiny ^^
