aevirex Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 I like it! But... not sure if its the lighting or the texture itself but the asphalt doesn't really differ from the mud. Quote
clayman Posted November 14, 2007 Report Posted November 14, 2007 oh, thats the lightning i like to keep the light dark and orange/blue to make the normalmap pop =) the asphalt isnt in same color as the dirt will post diffuse and normalmap when ive done more on it.. Quote
D3ads Posted November 15, 2007 Report Posted November 15, 2007 Both textures look really nice clayman Quote

Sentura Posted November 26, 2007 Report Posted November 26, 2007 i love the last texture clayman, nice work.. i'd love to see the normal for it as well Quote
Sly Assassin Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I've been fiddling with painted sufaces on things such as concrete and plaster walls. Anyway I managed to come up with this one Quote
Felix Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 it looks nice, but maybe a bit to sharpend for my tastes, good anyway. Quote
Minos Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Not bad but the painted surface looks weird. It's supposed to look smoother than the concrete, so instead of overlaying it get an smooth plaster texture and overlay over the painted part only. Quote
Method Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Sly Assasin: maybe this tutorial will be of help: http://www.methodonline.com/painted_tutorial.htm -Method Quote
