Rick_D
I am going to buy another camera for taking pictures for use in texturing, I want something awesome, yet still have some money left for porno mags and biscuits. Any recommendations, these caught my eye: http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products ... uid=118361 http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/120921/rb/25570880760
Cybbe
porno mags are overrated imho As well as paying for porn D: However, I don't really have any experience with any of the two cameras, but if you need it for what you need it for, maybe just go with the cheapest one with the prettiest resolution for the money? :c The second looks slightly promising compared to the first just by having an external card slot. e-freak
Canon DSLR is my recommend. Seriously invest 2 Hardporn-Magazines into the Cam instead of the and get some nice lenses for it - 1cent-sized-chip-cameras suck, do grainy fotos and most used lenses on them stretch the image on the sides. SnipaMasta
Agreed with e-freak - get a Canon DSLR. Or just any Canon - my experience with them has been good.
Meotwister
I seriously recommend the Canon A620 I've had it for almost a year and it's great, takes like movie up to 60fps, can take really nice shots for textures. Like a bunch of modes for shooting too. *edit* i just searched for my A620 and found out newegg has an A630, 8 megapixels, 4x zoom all the goodies of the A620 and only $269 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6830120069 theres also this one for $200 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6830120199 though I'm not sure where you are and if newegg would ship there.. I'm sure you can find these cameras somewhere else too.
Rick_D
I really like the look of that - bookmarked a site that's selling it at 200 pound (cheapest I could find from a store that had it in-stock and brand new). Thanks, will buy ti when my check clears this week - and still have money for porno.
Furyo
Canon EOS series ftw. The 350D is a great buy at a great price. Well I guess that might depend on how much you think a "great price" is

Well I guess that might depend on how much you think a "great price" is I have 350D and I'm not satisfied with lens. If you want to make realy nice pictures buy a new lens that's a thing you have to buy with ANY DSLR. i got the 300D and still happy with it. the battery is not that healthy anymore after 3 years, but quality is awesome. i'd say: 300 for a cheap used DSLR from canon (the 350D or 300D) + new battery + 90-300mm lense. that would make like 500Euro don't know what that will be in punds but i think you could do a pretty good deal with that. take a look at those images: replace the 300$ in the first with 100 or 200$ and in second image the 600$ would be equal to a brand new DSLR like the EOS 400D without a lense. http://thomashess.net/why_small_cameras_suck.jpg http://thomashess.net/why_eos_rocks.jpg

Rick_D
Well, the canon you posted hessi looks good, but it's a little out of my price range - I mean I could buy it but then I wouldn't be able to afford porno, so I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. I just need something good and cheap, but I know those two words don't go together, like sober and ladyboy.
