I really like the look of your map, its sweet! I have tested it with 4 players and found some things that might need to be looked at to make the map a good one. Basically it needs optimizing, it's very laggy in fact almost so that we could not aim properly. ( I guess you know that already). And the last cap on both sides are to close to spawn, I know that gives the map a special caractere but it's just to close and easy to camp. I realy hope that you will look into these things because this map has a nice environment and feel to it, and could be a classic...

Hey I made a clean little office texture pack once and no one liked it... I think it was because they where clean, you never no though..

Nice work man, yeah I think you should drop the broken road bits, they don't look good anyways. And for cover, maybe have some sort of small control centers, like the models that are used in HL2. -
No don't do that spinlock, it looks more real the way it is now. Quite normal for a sidewalk to have sand and shit in cracks like that. Excelent texture Sir!

Yeah I agree with ReNo, but then I suspect this is WIP and things will gradualy change. It looks better with some color and will be even better with color on top and bottom border aswell. The 3 circles need some work, what is it, windows, tube holes or just decoration? Anyways as it is, it looks to flat and boring in the middle of the circles. The boxes around needs some explaining aswell, are they bulging out of the wall or in. Like said earlier it is a good base or layout, but needs some color and detailed work to be finnished imo. I'm not trying to be rude here but maybe you should make a seperate progress topic for your textures, a sort of stepp by stepp thing, cause it's not much change from the last post, just a color overlay.

Thanx rockdude, nice work. Yeah you might have a point Sinister, at least I could have a go at some normal maps to see how they look, I'm not to good with normals and spec maps but hey...

Finnished a set of tech textures. 1,90 MB - Contains 57 files - 28 textures (All textures with a lightsource on them contain an alpha channel for the light, you can edit the vmt's to make the texture project light, I can't ) http://www.spineroyal.com/dloads/arcrux/arcrux1_textures.zip

I don't think anyone knows what you want. I don't. Are you somehow making that map or contributing to the making of it, or do you want help to copy that rock texture and make it look like kryptonite? Or do you just want some feedback on the texes? Here is my guess: Kryptonite: It needs some more colors, even though it should be green it would have other colors in it, right now it looks like you have adjusted the colors on the whole image to look green. Not realistic imo. Depends on what you are using it for. Metal: same goes for this texture the whole texture is monochromatic, look at (or use) an image of real metal and you will see that there are other colors in there that makes it look "alive". The bevel (shadow) with is to large on the edges aswell, should be much thinner. Then again it depends a bit on what you are using it for, what style you are looking to make. Hope this helps...
