  1. hmm ok, do you mean I should not make it look like it glows on the texture because the vtf/alpha will take care of that? I do have an alpha channel for the light, but not shure about what to put in the vtf for it to look right/glow. Thanx
  2. Hey! I want this texture to glow from the blue light aerias and wondered if anyone would know what to write in the vtf txt. I have made an alpha layer with just the light in them. Problem is I cant map so I cant check if it's working correctly.   3. Hey Squirrel, really nice tech textures, awesome detail. I have a question, it might not be of any importance but I wonder anyhow, what size are they supposed to be in? And did you have an idea for what game they could be used in? I mean they look like a close up of a bit of a wall or something, for source the fittings looks to big when a player is about half the size of a 512 texture... Just wondering.

  5. Sweet! Nice work, I would lighten the whole thing just a tad, I know that it looks like the ref image right now but think that it's a studio shot and outside it would look a little lighter. But then again this render might not give the right impression, take a shot ingame maybe.
  6. Heh, thanx... Yeah I am working on a set in the same theme. Yeah Schmung, wanted to ad led lights but then thought it would look naf ingame, donno how they do this, is it realy on the texture or is it a seperat thing...?
  7. Long time no post... Some nice stuff in this thread. I had an urge to do something different than the usual stuff I do so this is what I came up with. A space ship door I think. Wanted to combine old mechanical look with something high tech.

  14. Yeah some nice stuff you've done here marque, but I find it very hard to give critics on something with cartoon looks, suddenly every rule gets tossed out the window, well almost... All I can say is it looks nice and cartoony! Anyways GJ!

  17. Nice work. I cant help but feel there is something wrong with the perspective, the dishes or circle plates seem to be veiwed on different hight levels, maybe it's just me but it looks strange. But again that ads a scary distorting feel to it so maybe it's intended...

  24. That some nice work there Marque! The grass is extremly fluorecent though, but that might be intended. And the twist or sharp bend in the plamtree looks unnatural and is not to pleasing to my eye, but it might just be me... :wink:

    Hmm are they bland? Maybe it's because of the style, I tried to make them in a fashioned theme, but it's not something I'm used to do though. Oh well...
