Wow. This thread is so fascinating. Like for the first time we're all sorta... talking. Like really talking. So I will share as well. I recently broke up with my girlfriend of a year and a half (longest relationship I've ever had.) That was both a bummer and liberating. It's nice to have freedom again and sad that I have nothing to spend it on. Girls still baffle me. I get a lot of the friend card played on me. My job is going great. As Nate stated starting a project at the beginning can be a bit daunting because you know it's a long time before you get to celebrate again... and part of your life is gone. It's sorta weird I can measure my life in games. I'll probably get out 12 to 15 before I'm through and I've already shipped four. That's pretty scary.

It was a toss up between Re4 and Shadow of the Colossus until I realized RE4 is way better.

which is also why they'd know not to produce another mmo yet because it would split their userbase. they wont make another mmo for 5 or 6 years

It's actually really really fun. It's pretty much the buggiest game i've ever played though. 50% FIFTY PERCENT of all sounds don't play. So sometimes you just fight in silence. The game will break occasionally entirely and freeze as well. Having said that the game is a lot of fun. It's still better than Reloaded was.

So me and Fletch found this totally abandoned modern house out North of our place. Decided to take some shots.

I experienced this problem in that short period I felt doing textures for a steam product were worth doing. They had a DOS BASED content compilation system that wouldn't work unless steam was running in the background. It was simply compiling a shader into a vft but if steam wasn't running it would refuse to do it. This turned into quite a problem when steam servers would go down and it was impossible to compile. This feature was not available in offline mode. (Which launching in and of itself is mostly impossible short of unplugging your network cable and waiting for ten minutes.) Yet another bullet point on a long list of reasons hl2 just ain't worth modding for.

It's like a 9 person company But reskinning HL2 models (poorly) and charging money, ehhhhhh I'd buy DoD:S a second time before I buy this. Hell I'd pay Klein 20 bucks to make me 3 textures that look purdy before I pay money for this.

It's not that weird. I got I think 8 free copies in total of BiA Rth30 and I still bought like 3 or 4 more... I gave out quite a few and kept some.. EiB I bought 3, and haven't gotten the free ones yet (as the publisher always waits to give you the free ones)

Those are all really good, have a life and energy to them. Really impressive I love the little girl couting change in what appears to be a slaughter house
