Played it for the first time earlier this year. I had a good time with it. Really enjoyed the DLC probably more than the main game. Rapture is just hard to beat. The atmosphere of the place is unreal.

Look at it as future proofing. I think remakes and remasters, if done right, are good for game preservation. And if you don't like the new version for whatever reason, you can always opt to go back to the older one (assuming all versions remain available, which ideally should). I feel bad for the people on our forums that work there. You try to do your best, act professionally and then it all goes down the drain because some individuals can't not shit where they eat. Same thing happened with Ubisoft when it made the headlines last year. It's good that people are talking about it. I just hope there's gonna be an improvement.

If you go for the 64GB version, you're gonna have to buy additional memory like immediately. The latest triple A releases take up 50+ gb easily.

They experimented with more interesting encounters and faster pace in their spinoff, American Nightmare. As for the sequel, they got the publishing rights back and had been working on ideas for it. Those ideas evolved into Control, but Sam Lake has mentioned in an interview that they are ready and willing

Well, short term turned into long term. The map is coming along pretty good, but fairly slow. Definitely a lot harder to sit down and work after your 9 to 5 where you're essentially doing the same mental juggling. I can see now why some people here stopped working on levels in their spare time. How's everyone doing?
