We have been fine tuning specific areas for gameplay and making small to medium tweaks. The whole map is constantly getting touched, but areas with the most consistent updates lately have been Yard/Outside. This area has been tricky since it's the lynchpin of this whacky unconventional map layout. We've given power to CT's, then power to T's, and back and forth, eventually reaching an equilibrium. We are really close to it being right where we want it. B site has been getting pretty regular tweaks as well and its also very close.

Overall this has been quite the challenge making a layout like this work and I'm very proud I have gotten to work with Geno on this project. We will likely be making 1 or 2 updates before August 3rd and then not touching the map until the judging is done. Fingers crossed!

The crane supporting the ramp as it is holding is an awesome add to the map. It had crossed my mind when floating the Contact map. I actually was thinking about adding similar element, the crane but holding something else but for same gameplay reason to my map, once in the making.

Best of luck on the project!

Work is still underway and areas are getting a first pass. Always feels weird showing in progress work, I tend to want to hold things close to the vest until they are super polished. But hey, in progress is part of the competition so here are a few more areas subject to change. Early stuff.

Some before and afters

A site has gone through an early pass, but i'll work on it a bit more and show it later :)

Here's a before and after video showing the progress during phase 2.

We also have smoke lineups annotations that you can download from Gamebanana to learn some basic smokes. Sadly steam workshop doesn't allow you to launch non-official maps with guides so it has to be installed manually. The instructions for the same are available on the gamebanana page.
