  1. Ooof, missed my own playtest, thought they begun at 0400 EST because I'm an idiot, can I reschedule for 4/3 since I wasn't there?
  2. I've been splitting my time for the past week between working on the layout and learning 3ds Max and Substance Painter which has enabled me to create my first asset for the map:
  3. Pushed out an update in advance of some play testing today (imgur album), it includes various layout changes based on initial feedback from the first session of playtesting. My favorite change however is how much better the arches look with proper smoothing: Mid is still a bit big and open though... still working on it...
  4. They're all func_details so no issues with vvis using them thus far, I do however think they'll eventually be too difficult to work with when I get to the point I try applying textures to them, I'll probably replace them with prop_statics at that stage.
  5. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1273745248 I gotchu ;D Here is a shot of the brushes those are constructed out of: For them I just made an arch that I was pleased with, rotated it 45 and 90 degrees, lined them up and then meticulously crafted these heptahedrons, then just a whole lotta copy+paste.
  6. I'll be replacing those with some hopefully more believable obstructions in the future.
  7. So this is my first attempt at making a map for CS:GO, looking for feedback any feedback especially on layout adjustments, I think I've got a pretty good grasp on the theme I'm going for at this point. Workshop Link More screenshots here.
