Don't forget TF2 started off as P2P as well! Before I'd even read Chris' comment I was going to suggest hybrid! And what he says pretty much hits the nail on the head. But don't do a Hi-Rez and release an F2P game and then a year in undercut everyone who spent money by offering a £30 "goty" edition which comes with everything... the upcoming game TOXIKK by REAKKTOR studios are using quite a good pre-order model imo. Each pre-order package comes with increasing perks which could be attractive for early adopters, almost like their own kickstarter. They are P2P however, so I'm not entirely sure how it works. Maybe I could suggest a slightly altered method in which you have a range of payment methods. Not dissimilar to faceit's payment plan, where you would offer a free (albeit slightly limited version) and then increasing levels of price to purchase AND perks you get in the game over the levels below you. This way the game is still free but there's encouragement to upgrade your "purchase level" and everyone can try it for free first if needed. I personally hate monthly payments, I would rather pay for additional content if I wanted it, no matter how nominal the monthly fee is. I have no real technical experience with this, or market knowledge. I just know as a gamer what I would want to see

de_ore = Dior? I like twinstar mining as a corporation, that looks good, bit of back story if you will. As a name maybe not so much, and I'm definitely not liking de_ore Africa is known for it's conflict diamonds and minerals, I'm a massive fan of abstract but relevant names, so maybe simpy just de_conflict? You say Africa, but this is specifically congo. I think the same applies with the name http://www.raisehopeforcongo.org/content/conflict-minerals I haven't played it yet, but it looks like fun! Would be good to see a jungle theme successfully implemented

The paris map is a nice surprise. Not sure If I'd enjoy it in match making though... Facade is a great little map. Pretty sure TopHatwaffle did a 'making of' series on youtube for it. CS_workout was tested on here and is made by a mapcorian. Never heard of De_season... I knew about workout, season and facade! It's the other 3. I didn't see them in the workshop or on here, and I really cba with fpsbanana, so that exhausts my possibilities! I edited my post in quote form just to draw a little attention to what was said

I actually stopped playing just cause 2 because I found the cinematics so painful to watch. I'm glad I got back into it though and finished it, and I will definitely keep my eye on this one! Maybe multiplayer as standard this time?

i liked the system in battlefield and i guess cod, where the achievements are a lot smaller, but you can gain them multiple times, so you can see on your medal board that you got the "get 30 m4a4 kills" multiple times, and then have the slightly more special medals, "earn $1,000,000" earnt a couple of times. im coming up to doubling the $2,500,000 blood money challenge. and probably have the AK47 badge many times over! lol edit: I would have the AK47 "badge" 37 times D:

Demolition is seriously underrated, but i don't have much luck playing it as it's quite casual... It doesn't feature the absolutely abysmal gameplay the current version of classic casual does. Demolition > Classic Casual mattwood_valve on r/GlobalOffensive replied to a post about demolition, thanking the guy for putting thought into the gamemode. I get the feeling with all of this combined that a demolition update is fairly certain! Maybe they'll reduce the achievement for cold pizza eater...

I quite liked the exo suit. I thought the movement was refreshing, if not a way of copying unreal tournament movement into the game, but it doesn't feel very fluid. I have a couple of hours on multiplayer now, and I am getting totally wrecked by these guys who look absolutely ridiculous and are all using the bloody laser gun thing. zip around, unable to hit them, they aim vaguely in your direction for a couple of seconds and suddenly you are an electrified puddle. I totally agree with the visual noise, but then it means that the thermal scopes actually do something.

the device originally went up for sale in the US for $649 which at time of exchange, in GBP was about £406, a strange number which I would expect them to probably round up. £400ish is way off £500 for a starting price... Unless the US store didn't include tax, and then it is still more expensive in the UK... I sold my bloody nexus 5 in August and have had to deal with a Samsung Galaxy S (original S...), which I've found a pretty stable KitKat ROM for. RAM is in such short supply on this phone :'( I just want a nice new phone

I'm loving the art direction. The Japanese setting looks so good I want to lick it, and I'm really digging the "neo-London" theme. Not really my type of game, but I'm always open to try new ones even though I got quite sick of TF2 and mobas. PS. personal gripes: I'm sorry, was the horrifically bad english "street urchin" accent necessary? And they couldn't have made Reaper's guns look any more useless in the cinematic.
