i have to agree that i thought halo 2 was nothing special when i played it on my friends tv....but then we played it on a 52" dlp and my GOD....it really is a beautiful game....and fucking fun with 3 players since each box is like 20" a piece me and my friend were up till 3 friday night beating halo 2 but i fell asleep, from what i hear the ending is quite the cliffhanger, but kind of disappointing. at first i hated the controls and playing a FPS with a controller at all...but it grew on me.
