Andddddddddd Im done staring at this haha. Copper is here (once steam approved ;).) Hoping someone will enjoy the Poker easter egg ;). It was a challenge learning the new engine for this comp... but im content with the end result. I doubt well see this in the top 10 with all the dope submissions... but Im stoked to be involved. Its nice to have a goal to work toward! Thanks to the Mapcore team!

Copper is a Hostage's Rescue map: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3290934397 The terrorists are caught off guard while moving hostages in an abandoned copper mine in Alaska. I wanted to keep things simple.... Inspired by Office/Assault/Inferno... But tried to incorporate some fun and adventurous play. We only have two hostage maps atm so I figured this was the right direction. I sketched out my vision.. and am 90% done with the Greybox. Still need to build the 3d sky for the mountains... add cube maps and more details ect ...

Hey sorry for wasting you time!!! The pack failed for some reason....previous versions worked so I assumed when it grew in size everything was solid. Working on a new compile right now to try again! thanks for the heads up

Hey! Been working on this one for a couple years... and like everyone else want to post before CS2 lol The maps theme is a evening gala at a museum in Norway. Terrorist's smash into the back and take wealthy hostages. Its a small Hostage map with 4 main routes, lots of height, and eggs... this allows the terrorist's an option to push to camp the exit. This is my second map, so I wanted to make something a little more playful than the standard competitive layout. Looks fun! I feel like B will be a SOB to retake as a CT... Maybe add some more space to play with in CT spawn? CT side inferno gives more options with church/library to make the choke less harsh.. and with the closed off ceilings ext... grenade use is limited. CTs don't seem to have many options to take map control. The routes to "mid" feel very punishing .... but maybe with the angles you have it will play fine

Sick! Can you surf those angled walls? But solid polish! Looks like readability is great... and alot of the areas of the map feel unique which should help make it easy to learn.

nice! got a radar going Looks like you have some clean work going.... In some of the earlier shots it looks like your stairs might be a little steep/ tall. you should post a steam link if its ready! nice work!

Pretty happy with this Blender model for a csgo map im chipping away at. Using phototshop to texture... Cant justify buying substance...

Looks clean I feel the shadows are a little dark, might help with vis to brighten it up!

Forgive me if this is juvenile... But how are you making your textures? substance designer? Loooove the textures... The look and feel seem to blend well with the new character models Great work

Welcome to Xenos, The cost of living has become unbearable for locals due to an extreme uptick in tourism. The locals are out of options, and will stop at nothing to save their way of life. Over the last few months the locals have meticulously planned for their moment. Tonight is the night. They plan to stop the tourists at the source. The cable car. One strategic explosive in the engine room will render it useless for months... If they run into too much trouble, the fall back is a newly installed tourist information center. Not nearly as critical, but at least it would send a message.... Xenos is a small map with abundant height variation, open skybox, and routes with one way drops/ boosts. Teamwork will be necessary to triumph over your opponent. working that 3dskybox magic.... note: first full compile for 3d skybox... so twerking to come... need to adjust fog, lighting, polish ect... feeling good aproaching the deadline! Getting better fps than nuke atm and just need to make a few more props, textures... and polish till the cows come home. ? Im also planning on a name change. Thinking Its going to become de_xenos... which means stranger in greek.... Its shorter and more exotic -

Praise be to Gaben, I got it working. Thank you for your offer! Looks like I finally get it .... this has been so tedious.... agh but feels good after a long day Also @Roald I have had alot of testing with a small group, the minimap looks like a mess because due to some of the one way drops ect... Since the comp started I have tried to make sure game play was #1 priority.... the end result is me trying to have balance and alot of opportunity for tactical maneuvers! but i might be a loon..
