  1. Thanks! Here's a little trick I'm using to fake rooms behind windows, where there's actually nothing.
  2. Ohhh, that's what you mean. Yeah I'm thinking of adding some grass, but not too much as it might obstruct the view of the player.
  3. Thanks What do you mean by grass trimming?
  4. Recently picked up this map again, I feel like finishing it! Here's a timelapse of a Triceratops statue slowly melting. Some parts of the map are nearing completion, others are still in prototyping.
  5. Haven't had too much time recently, but I've started out fleshing out the mainhall, and it's basically complete. Now up next are the main wings.
  6. I resolved some errors that appeared when creating the PAK file, but it's there! http://thomaskole.nl/PaleoPark/CTF-D_PaleoPark-WindowsNoEditor.pak Feedback is most welcome!
  7. Main hall now has a roof, some leaves will be visible in the background.
  8. Hi, it's been a while. In the meantime, lot's has happened. I lost the whole level due to a failed update, and worked my way back. All my original mesh files still existed, but the whole Unreal project was gone. But the map is doing great, and it's really starting to come together. I try to pay attention to both the big and little details. The map is rotationally symmetrical, but the themes are very different. For example, the main wings: The main hall is also symetrical, you can run up the stairs or the dinosaur, doesn't matter. The carpark/enclosure parts of the level are the hardest, as they are thematically very different. But I feel that I can make any carpark shape work with the jungle theme, so I'll see about it. Feedback is always welcome!
  9. Hi E, I don't think those rooms are too cramped. Certainly smaller than your standard UT map, but I wanted to make a small map anyway. I think those are fun, more chaotic.
  10. Thanks Sigma, I don't think there will be real dinosaurs, but I might imply them with sounds and visuals. I don't think you'll be able to see the rest of the map from the outside, DeM0 The left one will be a parking garage, the one on the right will be a raptor enclosure, Here it is annotated:

DOWNLOAD CURRENT .PAK I've been working on a Jurassic Park inspired map, based on the visuals of the first movie, but not an exact copy. It's a completely functional symmetrically CTF map, but the visuals per side will be completely different. You can download and test this build if you want, it's from 13 September. http://thomaskole.nl/CTF-PaleoPark-WindowsNoEditor.pak The Unreal forums were not too lively, and I'm looking for some feedback! Thanks in advance, any tips and remarks are greatly appreciated!
  12. Slowly but surely, my Jurassic Park themed map for Unreal Tournament is coming together. I still have a long way to go, but it's coming together. Anyone know how to lock cameras in Unreal? I always pilot them accidentally.
