Hello!
I recently got a hold of the 4th Unreal Engine and to get to know it, I've started a small project that is doable within a "small" period of time.
I work on it when I can, but I have gotten the base BSP down, some defining structural meshes like the cave rock, walls, and containers.
The light "pass" is a quick temp, but not looking all to shabby. A bit washed and boring atm though.
Anyway, have learned a_lot up until now, and I must say I love it all so far! Blueprints and the physical material creation is a blast.
I'll make this thread sort of a log I can look back to, so I'll probably not only post beauty shots, if thats alright.
I might also post extra images here for those who would be interested..
//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
// April 9th
//
// Todo: Add more structual elements.
// Fix fugly container lightmap and material
//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and a work in progress material:
//--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
// April 11th
//
// Todo: Lightmapping errors on container,
// Material on IBeam/Supports. Do HP version for normals? Might be unnessesary..
// Container material still fugly
// Add grime and frozen-look to floor/walls near elevator. (in a later pass)

I will certainly appreciate c/c and suggestions!
Regards,
Oyvind
