cityy Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Fluorescent is a Quake III Arena 4vs4 capture the flag map featuring a bright and intense theme. I intended it to form a contrast to the theme you might expect from a quake 3 map. The making of the map lasted 10 weeks; including gameplay testing, creating the textures and getting the architecture right. I'm a student from germany who got into quake 3 level editing back in late 2009. Check out my website for past projects! Quote
Evert Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 More quake on Mapcore = awesome. Looks sweet! I'd probably try and get some more variation in between the two floors on the second screen for ultrafast navigation reasons, mainly in colors, but the geometry might be difference enough. A bit too dark at places maybe (but everyone cranks that up in their configs anyways I guess ) Quote
Minos Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 That looks pretty awesome!! I've just taken a look at your portfolio and I love it. Too bad most of your maps are for Quake Live (my ping is always high since there are no servers in Brazil). Keep up the good work and welcome to mapcore. Quote
