  2. Sorry for reanimating this thread, but I didn't want to open a new one. I made a sig/ava set today. It's still WIP since something bothers me, although I don't really know what exactly it is. It includes the 'sickleblades', which might be the oldest pieces of digital artwork made by myself (around 5 years old). I found them on my HD yesterday and just had to use them again. I just love their plain elegance - here we go: The thing on the left is a medieval lion beneath a 'P' - my initial. On the right, it's a coat of arms, including Da Vinci's vitruvian proportion study, the hieroglyph for 'eternity' or 'immortality' and the two sickleblades. All of them do also appear in the avatar and the signature. Here's an older artwork, where you might have a better look at the details.

  13. I was even using -texdata 16384 for most of my maps.
  14. Yes, however. I think I finally solved the problem. At least everything was fine after the last compile using FAST vis & rad. I'm currently doing a FULL compile and see if it's okay now, too. Although it would be very strange if the map was slower with a full compile than with only the fast settings... If I'm not winning the contest, I'll release this for HLDM, although the gameplay won't fit that perfectly. But I just can't wait to hear your feedback after playing it.

  19. I think I solved the lag-problem. Looks like the cables ('collide with world' on / 'auto-resize' on) were causing it. I turned those flags off and the map ran smooth again - everything seems to turn out fine now.
  20. Uh, that's hard to say. It's either the window into the so called 'eyecandy core' or it's the (evil) allseeing eye of the deus ex machina. Dunno really. Once I made a teaser/making-of animation of that sig: Erm, 'redundant' might be the word you're now looking for. :derp:
  21. Actually, you're spelling it very well - 'Deck' is the abbreviation of 'Deckaux'. Nevertheless, I know it's a weird nickname, so don't worry...
