Thadd Posted July 19, 2017 Report Posted July 19, 2017 (edited) de_Rocinha is currently a work in progress and updates with screenshots will be posted soon. The map takes place in the Brazilian favela, a hill full of closely cramped houses. CT's have just infiltrated the favella and are attempting the stop the mass causalities that could arrive from a bomb in the population dense area. The map will provide stealth, CQC, Medium Ranged Combat and Long range combat in the forms of narrow choke points, long alleyways and paths along with different interiors and roof top battles. Stay tuned for the drawn out layout soon. Edited July 21, 2017 by Thadd Quote
Radu Posted July 20, 2017 Report Posted July 20, 2017 There already is a well known map by the very same name and theme: http://counterstrike.wikia.com/wiki/Favela If you still want to go for the theme I would advise to change the name to something different. Quote

Okay thank you. I never played the map so it is hard to tell what's in it, the theme might be redone along with the name if I feel they are to similar. Quote
Thadd Posted July 21, 2017 Author Report Posted July 21, 2017 (edited) So everyone knows, the map will not be at all similar to the previous Favella map. Been timed and tested. 13 seconds from each side to any of the four choke points (Give or take a second) (15 second bomb sit rotation) Bot tested for little over an hour and seems pretty balanced 23 CT's to 25 T's. Map height variation is like this \ Highest on the left | Lowest on the right Feedback is greatly appreciated. Layout (Map size is roughly the same size as Dust2 dimension wise) Spoiler Pictures Spoiler Detailing that I started to do Edited July 21, 2017 by Thadd slavikov4 1 Quote
