Do we all need to manually download the latest versions to play on the server? I get filed to load, *mapname*.bsp. I saw a cmd that's sv_allowdownload 0/1 maybe thats something you could add on the server? I have no idea thats how its done, but would be nice to automate it.

You need to set the client to download too, like this


cl_allowdownload 1


however, it won't work anyway, cause it says that the server isn't pure, try and set it to sv_pure 1 Johnny


Fixed it so thanks for the tips. However, I still recommend downloading the files yourself. The server is extremely slow. Around 10 minutes download time per map.

I'll look into the rotation issues.

All submitted maps are uploaded. If you want to test them with friends here's the info to run the server:

You can login with /rconpassword 1162577


Other useful commands:


/rcon map mapname

/rcon addbot botname skilllevel 1-5 meaning /rcon addbot bones 2


Let me know if you need a new version of your map uploaded. Keep submitting guys and get your friends to play-test!


Also, download the maps before hand, download speed on the server is like 2 kb. I've collected all the submitted .pk3's here. Download this and extract to your base directory and you are good to go.

  • lots of Items! Regen, more armor, all weapons (even 2 rl)
  • Ivy 'kind of' works. No lightmap for it, cause it used to spoil ivy's shader alpha.
  • I know package is quite big. I will try my best to reduce its size

      One of the projects I worked on after I made de_austria.

      Yeah, I know the timing is really bad (CS2!), but can't change it... 🙁

      In general a lot went wrong during this project. Had a lot of problems with the layout, but I think I found a good compromise in the end. Also learned many new things. Maybe I would even be ready to create a really good map now after all, but I think that it's gonna be the final one. I really like making maps, but it has become too time consuming over the years for just being a hobby. Unfortunately I never managed to get a job in the games industry. So that's it. I hope it's a worthy ending of 20 years of making maps for me. 🙂

      Shore is a bomb defusal map for CS:GO that takes place on Lofoten Islands, Norway. (Also have a Hostage version of this that works well imo)
