WD Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 Signing up for the contest! Been sinking my teeth into the radiant editor and finally getting used to how to get something done with it. Not easy after being used to the 4 viewports of Hammer for so many years... Haven't decided yet on the layout or the theme. More of that in the future. Here's just some doodles. Sprony and Takkie 2
jameswilddev2 Posted October 19, 2014 Report Posted October 19, 2014 GTKRadiant has a 4-viewport mode; go to Edit->Preferences->Interface->Layout and it's one of the four layouts selectable along the top. Sprony 1
WD Posted October 19, 2014 Author Report Posted October 19, 2014 Thanks! the editor started to feel a lot more comfortable now Thurnip 1
Z(Rus) Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 I recommend using original interface for gtk(3 windows), in this interface you can operate much faster than a hammer interface(4 window) all you need to know it's just a few buttons: ctrl+tab - fast switching axes in 2D form w,r,v,n,s - edit brush, rotate, vertex editing, entiti edit, texture edit all buttons in left hand, mouse in right. it is much more comfortable than playing piano when editing map in hammer Sprony 1
