Hello everyone,

My name is Will , and I'm determined to break into the industry hopefully in the level design field. I find level design to be the most interesting and fun part of game development, but realise I need to start increasing the amount I learn and produce. I've recently written up a learning plan for the year, which I am aiming to complete (it has tick lists and everything!). I thought it was time I got involved with the larger community, to gain knowledge, experience and feedback of my work. I've been creating levels for many many years, but only recently started giving myself large projects to work on. I feel as though I've missed out on the period of making loads of little maps for Counter Strike or what not, to this date I only have 2 finished levels available to the public, each taking about 6+ months to complete. To start off with I thought I'd post a few pictures of recent design projects. I apologise if this is somewhat off topic.

Thanks much, Will

Hi guys, thanks for the replies! Apologies for the darkness of those screenshots, the map itself (for killingfloor) is actually very dark so its hard to present it. I agree with you on those tree's they were more of a last minute thing, I'd never made tree meshes before and they were a nightmare! I created the pool as accurate as possible, spending hours and hours looking at Pictures and photo's, the whole interior is there, you can see more on my blog.

As for the glock, I agree with you on the hard sharp edges, I need to really improve on my high poly modelling techniques as I'm sure I'm making it harder for myself. Im still rather baffled with next gen workflow, so I defiantly need to explore it more.

Cheers !
