Experienced BF2 Modders, Python, Mappers?

Are there any experienced BF2 modders here?

I am looking for someone who wishes to get involved with a new and highly original bf2 mod, design and planning are in early stages currently, and there will be many new challenges to get around. But if we can pull it off, this will be huge.

Experience with Python, Maja, 3dmax etc is advantageous but of course, all artist, coders, modellers will be greatfully considered.

All we ask is that you are mature, responsible and willing to meet up on Team speak once a week for brainstorm, and weekly or monthly assignments.

I dont want to give much away in the way of storyline etc, and nothing is quite concrete yet but lets just say :

Static teams/regions, global domination, economy and military building, evolving elements/progressive but fair "unocks", XP and Tech points, Resources.

Major tasks will be paid for.

UPDATE 1.0

the last couple of weeks have been fruitful and we have a small team now includes mappers, media and audio tech, all of which are gratefully recieved and have made it into the mod team. Welcome aboard guys!

Nations team is now looking to promote:

1 x Advanced coder, with relevant experience - *possibly paid position

1 x Amatuer coder, with some background

2 x Experienced modelers, with presentable work

1 x Texture artist, preferably with ready made import ready textures

1 x Audio/sound technician, able to produce atmospheric music and sounds

1 x Video technician, with experience or interest in media

We are looking for all types of mod contributions, if you feel you may have something special to give to our team, even if it is on a part time basis, please get in touch.

UPDATE 1.1

In the last two weeks, it has been decided that this is now going to be a standalone game, and no longer using current engines.

The first version is going to be a free download demo, The lead coder position is now filled and he is going to be starting work from the 10th of May.

The restrictions with bf2 engine did not suit the game design so well.

As the work will be starting in the next week or two I would really love to hear from those of you that can help:

Texture Artists

Modellers

Animators

Sound and video techs

Concept artists for modellers

Hi psycho,

This is on the way, within the next few weeks we will have something to show for sure.

I didnt want to start the website until there was some good content to add.

Please keep checking this post though as I will update it momentarily.

The team is very small currently so progress is slow, but monthly budget has now been alocated and professional work has comenced starting from last week.

Cheers for posting though psycho! I undertand nobody will have much to say until I can showcase something of the game.
