trepid_jon
Hey mapcore folks, how's it going. We have an opening at Controlled Chaos Media, figured I'd let y'all know about it. This is an opportunity for a programmer that is ready to put their nose to the grindstone and create great products. A team player who is ready to work with art and design to ensure we have attainable goals, and ready to push new technology. Qualifications: • Knowledge of console development, preferably Xbox360 and Wii. • Must have shipped at least 2 games in a programmer position, preferably 1 title as a senior programmer. • A knowledge of or great desire to work with mobile technology, namely iPhone. • Contribute to the Technical Design Documents (TDDs) as projects begin. • Suggest improvements to aid development. • Develop tools to maximize productivity in the creation of content, as needed. • Create your own schedule, as well as help others ensure their schedules are realistic and accurate. • Fluent in C/C++ • Excellent 3D Math Skills • Someone who can mentor Jr. Programmers • Have the desire to work into a lead position. Controlled Chaos is a fully-funded game development studio. We are looking for people wanting to build something big and have a voice on how they want to do business. If you have a great work ethic, a great attitude, and a love for games, then you can be part of our team. If interested, please email info@cchaosmedia.com I'll also add that with it being a relatively small studio, it's definitely a plus being talented in multiple areas (although definitely not required, it just sometimes comes in handy). While here, I've mainly been a general programmer, but I've also done plenty of design and level design. Everyone has a big influence in what we do, how things are done, and what may happen next. There is great chemistry between us and we feel good about the future. Thanks, Jon Day
